RS232 click provides an interface between the TTL/CMOS logic levels commonly used on microcontrollers and the RS-232 bus. RS-232 is a rather old communication protocol that has survived thanks to its robustness and implementation on many personal computer motherboards. It can still be found on various pieces of DTE and DCE equipment. This Click board™ allows standard type MCUs to communicate through the RS-232 interface via the standard UART bus pins: RX and TX. The RS-232 click utilizes the MAX3232, a 3.0V to 5.5V low power, true RS-232 transceiver, from Maxim Integrated. This device can achieve communication speed up to 232 kbps (EIA/TIA-232).

Altitude Click is a compact add-on board that allows height measurement of an object or point related to sea level or ground level. This board features the MPL3115A2, a MEMS pressure sensor providing accurate pressure/altitude and temperature data measurements from NXP Semiconductors. The MPL3115A2 provides 20-bit pressure/altitude and 12-bit temperature data with an altitude resolution of 30cm. It contains automatic internal data processing with data acquisition and compensation and a 32-sample FIFO buffer to minimize the overhead of collecting multiple data samples. It can autonomously collect data at programmed intervals and store it for up to 12 days, depending on the data acquisition rate (1 second - 9 hours). This Click board™ is suitable for high accuracy altimetry, map assist and navigation, weather station equipment, and many more.
